Gideon Ian Israel - Chairman
Gideon was born in South Africa in 1948 and came to England in 1961, graduating from Manchester University (UMIST) with a BSc (Hons) in Engineering. Following university, he worked as a structural engineer in an architect’s office until 1974, later that year starting his first business carrying out specialist plastering and remedial works. Gideon has since been involved in a number of successful businesses, primarily in the property and security sectors. He sold two security businesses in 1997 to a public company, later to start another security business, Safe Estates Services Limited, in 2000 which he sold at the end of 2004 for £55.5m. At the time of the sale it was one of the ten fastest expanding non software businesses in the country. Gideon is the chairman of a number of businesses, the most recent appointment being to Clearway Services (UK) Limited. This is a company that carries out security and management services to vacant properties.

Ivan Melvin Couchman - Director
Mr Couchman trained as an accountant with BOC Group plc later moving to become
Finance Director of a subsidiary of Unitech plc. During a very successful period with the TNT Group, Mr Couchman made Luton Depot the most profitable in the Roadfreight Group & turned round the International Courier, Parcels & Freight Division from losses to making record profits in 1987. Mr Couchman then joined Bricom plc in 1988 as Managing Director of ANC Holdings (a major subsidiary of the Group) following a £400 million management buyout from British & Commonwealth plc. Following his successful turnaround of the business & the sale of the Bricom Group, he spent time with British Rail - Red Star Parcels as Managing Director to restructure the loss making business & prepare it for Privatisation.

More recently, Mr Couchman's roles include an MBI & turnaround of Hammond Group Holdings plc, Regional Managing Director of Granada Home Technology Group, the largest division of Granada plc, Finance Director Operations for Brakes Bros plc, Group Finance Director for McCambridge Group plc, a pan-european own-label food manufacturer and CFO Service and Logistics Division with LM Windpower Group, the largest global producer of wind turbine blades.

In addition to his performance improvement and turnaround roles, Mr Couchman has significant experience of pre and post-merger integration and private equity backed management buyouts and divestments.

Mr Couchman is a Fellow of the Institutes of Chartered Management Accountants (FCMA),Logistics (FILOG) and Transport (FCIT).

Barry Richard Heath - Director
Barry has over 40 years of experience within the financial services sector, principally in the areas of trading and risk management in the fixed income and futures sectors. He has founded and run a number of firms in addition to holding senior positions in a number of established financial services businesses.
Barry’s career started with Hedder Stirling Grumbar & Co in September 1972 as a junior trader from where he moved to Lazard Bros in 1979 as an assistant fund manager. Here he helped establish the LIFFE trading operation, becoming the floor manager and senior trader.
In 1984, he founded B&H Financial Futures, a LIFFE non-public order exchange member.More recently, Barry has held a number of senior positions including office and risk manager at Refco Trading Services of the Prop Trading Group, as a Fund trader with MCI Services Limited and, presently, with Xconnect Trading Ltd as a senior trader where he runs the fixed income and new issues desk.
Mr Heath is a member of LIFFE and an approved person (CF30) by the FCA.

Julian Steven Seidman
Julian is a chartered accountant with significant experience obtained in entrepreneurial growth companies including media, distribution and telecoms in both the quoted and private sectors. He has expertise in fund raising and M&A activities as well as listed company board representation. He has been involved with the company as its chief financial officer since its inception in 2010.
